Processing purposes

RE-SULT BVBA collects and processes customers’ personal data for customer and order management (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, monitoring solvency, profiling, and sending marketing and personalized advertisements).

Legal basis for processing

Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Sharing with third parties

If necessary to achieve the stated purposes, the customer’s personal data will be shared with other companies (within the RE-SULT BVBA group) within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly affiliated with RE-SULT BVBA.

RE-SULT BVBA guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

Retention period

Personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including accounting obligations).

Right of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Objection, and Data Portability

The customer has the right to access their personal data at any time and may have it corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete, have it deleted, restrict its processing, and object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1(e) or (f), including profiling based on these provisions.

Additionally, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format) of their personal data and to have their data transferred to another company.

To exercise the above rights, the customer is requested to:

• Adjust the settings of their customer account themselves; and/or

Direct marketing

The customer has the right to object, free of charge, to any processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Complaint

The customer has the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels – commission@privacycommission.be).

Use of cookies

During a visit to the website, ‘cookies’ may be placed on your computer’s hard drive. A cookie is a text file that is placed in your computer’s browser or on your mobile device by a website’s server when you visit a website.
